    وَأُتْبِعُوا۟ فِى هَـٰذِهِۦ لَعْنَةً وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ بِئْسَ ٱلرِّفْدُ ٱلْمَرْفُودُ

    (99) And they were followed in this [world] with a curse and on the Day of Resurrection. And wretched is the gift^[576] which is given.

    [576]- i.e., the curse which follows them in both worlds.

    {99} {وأُتْبِعوا في هذه}؛ أي: في الدنيا {لعنةً ويوم القيامةِ}؛ أي: يلعنهم الله وملائكته والناسُ أجمعون في الدنيا والآخرة. {بئس الرِّفْدُ المرفودُ}؛ أي: بئس ما اجتمع لهم، وترادَفَ عليهم من عذاب الله ولعنة الدُّنيا والآخرة.
