    وَٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَـٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۙ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ

    (25) But those who break the covenant of Allāh after contracting it and sever that which Allāh has ordered to be joined and spread corruption on earth - for them is the curse, and they will have the worst home.^[639]

    [639]- i.e., Hell. Another meaning is (in contrast to verse 22), "...and they will have the bad consequence of [this] home," also referring to Hell.

    {25} لما ذكر حال أهل الجنة؛ ذكر أنَّ أهل النار بعكس ما وصفهم به، فقال عنهم: {والذين ينقُضون عهد الله من بعد ميثاقِهِ}؛ أي: من بعدما أكَّده عليهم على أيدي رسله وغلَّظ عليهم، فلم يقابلوه بالانقياد والتسليم، بل قابلوه بالإعراض والنقض. {ويقطَعون ما أمر الله به أن يوصَلَ}: فلم يَصِلوا ما بينهم وبين ربِّهم بالإيمان والعمل الصالح، ولا وصلوا الأرحام، ولا أدَّوا الحقوق، بل أفسدوا في الأرض بالكفر والمعاصي والصدِّ عن سبيل الله وابتغائها عوجاً. {أولئك لهم اللعنةُ}؛ أي: البعد والذمُّ من الله وملائكته وعباده المؤمنين. {ولهم سوء الدار}: وهي الجحيم بما فيها من العذاب الأليم.
