   وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُم بِأَيَّىٰمِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

   (5) And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, [saying], "Bring out your people from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days^[650] of Allāh." Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

   [650]- Days of blessings bestowed upon the Children of Israel. Also interpreted as days of punishment and destruction of the former nations.

   {5} يخبر تعالى أنه أرسل موسى بآياته العظيمة الدالَّة على صدق ما جاء به وصحَّته، وأمره بما أمر الله به رسوله محمداً - صلى الله عليه وسلم -، بل وبما أمر به جميع الرسل قومهم: {أن أخْرِجْ قومك من الظُّلمات إلى النور}؛ أي: ظلمات الجهل والكفر وفروعه إلى نور العلم والإيمان وتوابعه. {وذكِّرْهم بأيام الله}؛ أي: بنعمه عليهم وإحسانه إليهم، وبأيَّامه في الأمم المكذِّبين ووقائعه بالكافرين؛ ليشكروا نعمه وليحذروا عقابه. {إنَّ في ذلك}؛ أي: في أيام الله على العباد، {لآياتٍ لكلِّ صبَّارٍ شكور}؛ أي: صبار في الضرَّاء والعسر والضيق، شكور على السراء والنعمة؛ فإنَّه يستدلُّ بأيامه على كمال قدرته وعميم إحسانه وتمام عدله وحكمته.
