    قَالَ أَمَّا مَن ظَلَمَ فَسَوْفَ نُعَذِّبُهُۥ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ فَيُعَذِّبُهُۥ عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا

    (87) He said, "As for one who wrongs,^[796] we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment [i.e., Hellfire].

    {87} فكان عند ذي القرنين من السياسة الشرعيَّة ما استحقَّ به المدح والثناء؛ لتوفيق الله له لذلك، فقال: سأجعلهم قسمين: {أمَّا مَنْ ظَلَمَ}: بالكفر، {فسوف نعذِّبُه ثم يردُّ إلى ربِّه فيعذِّبه عذاباً نُكْراً}؛ أي: تحصُلُ له العقوبتان؛ عقوبة الدنيا، وعقوبة الآخرة.
