    إِنَّمَا كَانَ قَوْلَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذَا دُعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ أَن يَقُولُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

    (51) The only statement of the [true] believers when they are called to Allāh and His Messenger to judge between them is that they say, "We hear and we obey." And those are the successful.

    Tafsir as-Sa'di (Arabic)

    Covers verses 51

    {51} أي: {إنَّما كان قولَ المؤمنين}: حقيقةً، الذين صَدَّقوا إيمانَهم بأعمالهم حين يدعون {إلى الله ورسولِهِ لِيَحْكُم بينَهم}: سواء وافق أهواءهم أو خالفها، {أنْ يقولوا سَمِعْنا وأطَعْنا}؛ أي: سمعنا حكم الله ورسولِهِ وأجَبْنا مَنْ دعانا إليه وأطعنا طاعةً تامةً سالمةً من الحرج. {وأولئك هم المفلحونَ}: حَصَرَ الفلاح فيهم؛ لأنَّ الفلاحَ الفوزُ بالمطلوب والنجاةُ من المكروه، ولا يُفْلِحُ إلاَّ مَنْ حَكَّمَ اللهَ ورسولَه وأطاع اللهَ ورسولَه.
