    وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِى هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا۟ ٱلسَّبِيلَ

    (17) And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allāh and will say, "Did you mislead these, My servants, or did they [themselves] stray from the way?"

    {17} يخبر تعالى عن حالة المشركين وشركائهم يوم القيامة وتبرِّيهم منهم وبطلان سعيهم، فقال: {ويوم يحشُرُهم}؛ أي: المكذِّبين المشركين، {وما يَعْبُدون من دونِ الله فيقولُ}: الله مخاطباً للمعبودينَ على وجه التقريع لمن عَبَدَهم: {أأنتم أضلَلْتُم عبادي هؤلاء أم هم ضَلُّوا السبيل}: هل أمرتُموهم بعبادتكم وزيَّنْتُم لهم ذلك أم ذلك من تلقاءِ أنفسهم؟
