    أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ حَدَآئِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنۢبِتُوا۟ شَجَرَهَآ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ

    (60) [More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with Allāh?^[1083] [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him].

    [1083]- Three meanings are implied: "Is there another god who did all of this with Allāh?" or "Is there any deity worthy to be worshipped along with Allāh?" or "Is there a deity to be compared with Allāh?"

    Tafsir as-Sa'di (Arabic)

    Covers verses 60

    {60} أي: أمَّن خَلَقَ السماواتِ وما فيها من الشمس والقمر والنجوم والملائكة والأرض وما فيها من جبال وبحار وأنهار وأشجار وغير ذلك، {وأنزل لكم}؛ أي: لأجلكم {من السماءِ ماءً فأنْبَتْنا به حدائقَ}؛ أي: بساتين {ذاتَ بهجةٍ}؛ أي: حسن منظر من كثرة أشجارها وتنوُّعها وحسنِ ثمارها. {ما كانَ لكُم أن تُنبِتوا شَجَرَها}: لولا مِنَّةُ الله عليكم بإنزال المطر. {أإلهٌ مع اللهِ}: فَعَلَ هذه الأفعالَ حتى يُعبد معه ويُشرَك به، {بل هم قوم يعدِلونَ}: به غيره، ويسوُّون به سواه، مع علمِهِم أنَّه وحده خالقُ العالم العلويِّ والسفليِّ ومنزلُ الرزق.
