    وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَّعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ ۖ وَلَيُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

    (13) But they will surely carry their [own] burdens and [other] burdens along with their burdens,^[1127] and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about what they used to invent.

    [1127]- Besides their own sins, they will carry those of the people they misled, although it will not lessen the burden of the latter.

    {13} ولمَّا كان قوله: {وما هُم بحاملينَ مِنْ خطاياهم من شيءٍ}: قد يُتَوَهَّم منه أيضاً أنَّ الكفَّار الدَّاعين إلى كفرهم ـ ونحوهم ممَّن دعا إلى باطله ـ ليس عليهم إلاَّ ذنبُهم الذي ارتكبوه دون الذَّنب الذي فعله غيرُهم، ولو كانوا متسبِّبين فيه؛ قال محترِزاً عن هذا الوهم: {وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أثْقالَهم}؛ أي: أثقال ذُنوبهم التي عملوها، {وأثقالاً مع أثقالِهِم}: وهي الذُّنوب التي بسببهم ومن جَرَّائهم؛ فالذنبُ الذي فعله التابعُ لكل من التابع والمتبوع حصةٌ منه: هذا لأنَّه فَعَلَه وباشَرَه، والمتبوعُ لأنَّه تسبَّب في فعلِهِ ودعا إليه؛ كما أنَّ الحسنة إذا فعلها التابعُ له أجرُها بالمباشرة وللداعي أجره بالتسبب، {وَلَيُسْألُنَّ يومَ القيامةِ عمَّا كانوا يفترونَ}: من الشرِّ وتزيينه وقولِهِم: {وَلْنَحمِلْ خطاياكم}.
