    وَمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُكُم بِٱلَّتِى تُقَرِّبُكُمْ عِندَنَا زُلْفَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَنْ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًا فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ جَزَآءُ ٱلضِّعْفِ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْغُرُفَـٰتِ ءَامِنُونَ

    (37) And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].

    Covers verses 37

    {37} وليست الأموال والأولاد {بالتي} تقرب إلى الله {زُلْفى}: وتُدني إليه، وإنَّما الذي يقرِّبُ منه زلفى الإيمان بما جاء به المرسلونَ والعملُ الصالح الذي هو من لوازم الإيمان؛ فإنَّ أولئك لهم الجزاء عند الله تعالى مضاعفاً الحسنة بعشر أمثالها إلى سبعمائةِ ضعفٍ إلى أضعافٍ كثيرة لا يعلمُها إلاَّ الله. {وهم في الغُرُفاتِ آمنونَ}؛ أي: في المنازل العاليات المرتفعات جدًّا، ساكنين فيها مطمئنِّين، آمنون من المكدِّرات والمنغِّصات لما هم فيه من اللذَّات وأنواع المشتَهَياتِ، وآمنون من الخروج منها والحزن فيها.
