    أَجَعَلَ ٱلْـَٔالِهَةَ إِلَـٰهًا وَٰحِدًا ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ عُجَابٌ

    (5) Has he made the gods [only] one God? Indeed, this is a curious thing."

    {5} وذنبُهُ عندَهم أنَّه {جعل الآلهة إلهاً واحداً}؛ أي: كيف ينهى عن اتِّخاذ الشركاء والأنداد ويأمُرُ بإخلاص العبادة لله وحده؟! {إنَّ هذا}: الذي جاء به {لشيءٌ عُجابٌ}؛ أي: يقضى منه العجب لبطلانِهِ وفسادِهِ عندهم.
