    لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدْعُونَنِىٓ إِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ دَعْوَةٌ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ هُمْ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ

    (43) Assuredly, that to which you invite me has no [response to a] supplication in this world or in the Hereafter; and indeed, our return is to Allāh, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire.

    {43} {لا جَرَمَ}؛ أي: حقاً يقيناً {أنَّ ما تدعونني إليه ليس له دعوةٌ في الدنيا ولا في الآخرة}؛ أي: لا يستحقُّ [مِن] الدعوة إليه والحثِّ على اللجأ إليه في الدُّنيا ولا في الآخرة لعجزه ونقصه، وأنَّه لا يملك نفعاً ولا ضرًّا ولا موتاً ولا حياةً ولا نشوراً، {وأنَّ مردَّنا إلى الله}: تعالى فسيجازي كلَّ عامل بعمله، {وأنَّ المسرفين هم أصحابُ النار}: وهم الذين أسرفوا على أنفسِهم بالتجرِّي على ربِّهم بمعاصيه والكفر به دون غيرهم.
