    قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَفَرْتُم بِهِۦ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّنۢ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ عَلَىٰ مِثْلِهِۦ فَـَٔامَنَ وَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

    (10) Say, "Have you considered: if it [i.e., the Qur’ān] was from Allāh, and you disbelieved in it while a witness from the Children of Israel has testified to something similar^[1480] and believed while you were arrogant...?"^[1481] Indeed, Allāh does not guide the wrongdoing people.

    {10} {قل أرأيتُم إن كان من عندِ الله وكفرتُم به وشَهِدَ شاهدٌ من بني إسرائيل على مثلِهِ فآمن واستكبرتُم}؛ أي: أخبروني لو كان هذا القرآن من عند الله، وشهد على صحَّته الموفَّقون من أهل الكتاب، الذين عندهم من الحقِّ ما يعرفون أنَّه الحقُّ، فآمنوا به واهتدَوْا، فتطابقتْ أنباء الأنبياء وأتباعهم النبلاء واستكبرتُم أيُّها الجهلاء الأغبياء؛ فهل هذا إلا أعظم الظلم وأشدُّ الكفر؟! {إنَّ الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين}: ومن الظُّلم الاستكبار عن الحقِّ بعد التمكُّن منه.
