    أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَـٰمُهُم بِهَـٰذَآ ۚ أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ

    (32) Or do their minds^[1558] command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people?

    [1558]- In this expression is also a subtle allusion to the leaders of the Quraysh, who considered themselves to be great minds.

    Covers verses 32

    {32} {أم تأمُرُهم أحلامُهم بهذا أم هم قومٌ طاغونَ}؛ أي: أهذا التكذيبُ لك والأقوال التي قالوها؛ هل صدرتْ عن عقولِهم وأحلامِهم؛ فبئس العقولُ والأحلامُ التي هذه نتائجها وهذه ثمراتها ؛ فإنَّ عقولاً جعلتْ أكملَ الخلق عقلاً مجنوناً، وجعلت أصدقَ الصِّدق وأحقَّ الحقِّ كذِباً وباطلاً؛ لهي العقول التي ينزَّه المجانين عنها؟ أم الذي حملهم على ذلك ظلمُهم وطغيانُهم؟ وهو الواقع؛ فالطغيانُ ليس له حدٌّ يقف عليه؛ فلا يُستغرب من الطاغي المتجاوزِ الحدَّ ، كلُّ قول وفعل صَدَرَ منه.
