   لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

   (2) His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent.

   Tafsir as-Sa'di (Arabic)

   Covers verses 2

   {2} ثم أخبر عن عموم ملكه، فقال: {له ملكُ السمواتِ والأرضِ يحيي ويميتُ}؛ أي: هو الخالق لذلك، الرازق المدبِّر لها بقدرته، {وهو على كلِّ شيءٍ قديرٌ}.
