    قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ بَغْتَةً أَوْ جَهْرَةً هَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

    (47) Say, "Have you considered: if the punishment of Allāh should come to you unexpectedly or manifestly,^[307] will any be destroyed but the wrongdoing people?"

    {47} {قل أرأيْتَكُم}؛ أي: أخبروني {إن أتاكم عذابُ الله بغتةً أو جهرةً}؛ أي: مفاجأةً أو قد تقدَّم أمامه مقدماتٌ تعلمون بها وقوعَه، {هل يُهْلَكُ إلَّا القومُ الظالمون}: الذين صاروا سبباً لوقوع العذابِ بهم بظلمِهم وعنادِهم؛ فاحذروا أن تقيموا على الظُّلم؛ فإنه الهلاك الأبدي، والشقاءُ السرمديُّ.
