    ٱلسَّمَآءُ مُنفَطِرٌۢ بِهِۦ ۚ كَانَ وَعْدُهُۥ مَفْعُولًا

    (18) The heaven will break apart therefrom;[1784] ever is His promise fulfilled.

    {17 - 18} أي: فكيف يحصلُ لكم الفكاكُ والنَّجاة يومَ القيامةِ، اليوم المَهيل أمرُه، العظيمُ خطرُه ، الذي يشيِّبُ الولدان وتذوبُ له الجمادات العظام؛ فتنفطر السماء وتنتثر نجومُها. {كان وعدُه مفعولاً}؛ أي: لا بدَّ من وقوعه ولا حائل دونه.
