    إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ ٱلنُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِۦ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ ٱلْأَقْدَامَ

    (11) [Remember] when He overwhelmed you with drowsiness [giving] security from Him and sent down upon you from the sky, rain by which to purify you and remove from you the evil [suggestions] of Satan and to make steadfast your hearts and plant firmly thereby your feet.

    {11} ومن نصرِهِ واستجابته لدعائكم أن أنزل عليكم نعاساً {يُغَشِّيكم}؛ أي: فيُذْهِب ما في قلوبكم من الخوف والوجل، ويكون {أمَنَةً}: لكم وعلامةً على النصر والطمأنينة. ومن ذلك أنه أنزل عليكم من السماء مطراً ليطهِّركم به من الحَدَث والخَبَث، وليطهِّركم به من وساوس الشيطان ورجزه، {ولِيَرْبِطَ على قلوبكم}؛ أي: يثبِّتها؛ فإنَّ ثبات القلب أصلُ ثبات البدن، {ويُثَبِّتَ به الأقدام}: فإن الأرض كانت سهلةً دهسةً، فلما نزل عليها المطر؛ تلبَّدت، وثبتت به الأقدام.
