    إِنَّ شَرَّ ٱلدَّوَآبِّ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

    (55) Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allāh are those who have disbelieved, and they will not [ever] believe-

    {55 - 56} هؤلاء الذين جمعوا هذه الخصالَ الثلاث - الكفر وعدم الإيمان والخيانة - بحيث لا يثبُتون على عهدٍ عاهدوه ولا قول قالوه هم {شرُّ الدوابِّ عند الله}: فهم شرٌّ من الحمير والكلاب وغيرها؛ لأنَّ الخير معدوم منهم، والشرَّ متوقَّع فيهم.
