    هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْغَـٰشِيَةِ

    (1) Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?

    {1} يذكر تعالى أحوال يوم القيامة وما فيها من الأهوال الطامَّة، وأنَّها تغشى الخلائق بشدائدها، فيجازَوْن بأعمالهم، ويتميَّزون إلى فريقين: فريق في الجنَّة، وفريق في السَّعير. فأخبر عن وصف كلا الفريقين:
