    لَـٰكِنِ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتُ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

    (88) But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all that is] good and it is those who are the successful.

    Tafsir as-Sa'di (Arabic)

    Covers verses 88

    {88} يقول تعالى: إذا تخلَّف هؤلاء المنافقون عن الجهاد؛ فالله سيُغْني عنهم، ولله عبادٌ وخواصٌّ من خلقِهِ اختصَّهم بفضله يقومون بهذا الأمر، وهم {الرسول}: محمدٌ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -، {والذين آمنوا معه} يجاهدون {بأموالهم وأنفسهم}: غير متثاقلين ولا كَسِلين، بل هم فرحون مستبشرون، فأولئك {لهم الخيراتُ}: الكثيرةُ في الدُّنيا والآخرة. فأولئك {هم المفلحون}: الذين ظَفِروا بأعلى المطالب وأكمل الرغائب.
