    فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَـٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا

    (97) So, [O Muḥammad], We have only made it [i.e., the Qur’ān] easy in your tongue [i.e., the Arabic language] that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people.

    {97} يخبر تعالى عن نعمتِهِ، وأنَّه يسَّر هذا القرآن الكريم بلسان الرسول محمدٍ صلّى الله عليه وسلّم؛ يسَّر ألفاظه ومعانيه؛ ليحصل المقصودُ منه والانتفاع به؛ {لِتُبَشِّرَ به المتَّقينَ}: بالترغيب في المبشَّر به من الثواب العاجل والآجل، وذِكْر الأسباب الموجبة للبشارة، {وتُنذِرَ به قوماً لُدًّا}؛ أي: شديدين في باطلهم، أقوياء في كفرهم، فتنذِرَهم، فتقوم عليهم الحجَّة، وتتبيَّن لهم المحجَّة، فيهلِك مَن هَلَك عن بيِّنة، ويحيا مَن حيَّ عن بيِّنة.
