    وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ

    (15) And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

    {15} {وخلق الجانَّ}؛ أي: أبا الجنِّ، وهو إبليس لعنه الله {من مارج من نارٍ}؛ أي: من لهب النار الصافي، أو الذي قد خالطه الدخان. وهذا يدلُّ على شرف عنصر الآدميِّ المخلوق من الطين والتراب، الذي هو محل الرزانة والثقل والمنافع؛ بخلاف عنصر الجانِّ، وهو النار، التي هي محلُّ الخفَّة والطيش والشرِّ والفساد.
