    ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ

    (5) The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,

    {5} {الشمسُ والقمرُ بحُسْبانٍ}؛ أي: خلق الله الشمس والقمر وسخَّرهما يجريان بحساب مقنَّن وتقدير مقدَّر رحمةً بالعباد وعنايةً بهم، وليقوم بذلك من مصالحهم ما يقوم، وليعرفوا عدد السنين والحساب.
